What is your ideal client?
An ideal client is someone who is looking for a fun adventure!
What’s the story behind your company?
I started in 1983 with IVI Travel in Neenah Wisconsin. I had no experience but told them I would be the hardest worker they ever had and they hired me on the spot. I started in the business because I loved the thought of helping clients fulfill their travel dreams.
About the Owner
Karen has been working in the travel industry since 1983. She began as a ticket delivery person in Appleton and during slow times. Karen taught herself the first airline computer system and was able to work into a travel agent career. After working with 3 different agencies, she opened my own agency in 1994. These experiences have helped her to fine tune her skills and broaden my knowledge base of amazing destinations! She has traveled extensively through-out Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico and the United States. These travels have exposed her to hundreds of different destinations. She loves to work closely with clients to help suggest trip locations that will be the right fit for them. She feels lucky to have some clients that she has worked with for over 30 years! In the past she has worked with corporate clients like Cramer and Associates and GE Healthcare to plan meetings and customer events.
Karen has lived in Muskego with her family since 1996. Her husband Mark just retired after 38 years as a math teacher and administrator. He is still tutoring and working for her as an administrative assistant. She has an older son, Paul, that is a computer engineer living in Madison, and her younger son, Trey, is pursuing a degree in special education and would like to be a middle school teacher.
During her free time, she enjoys travelling, family, boating, reading, and being a Muskego resident. It is a great place to raise a family!
